Présent de l'indicatif des verbes du premier groupe (verbes en -er)

Please note that parle, parles, parle and parlent are pronounced exactly the same, that is parle. Yes, all those extra letters are silent and you will find that the final letters of a word are often silent in French.

Exercices:

Fill in the sentences with the correct form of the given verb:

1. Cet homme (parler) …………………………. trois langues.
2. Ma femme et moi (habiter) ………………….. à Orléans.
3. Je (travailler)………………………………. dans un cinéma.
4. Tu (aimer) ………………………………… la pizza?
5. Je ne suis pas difficile, je (manger) …………………… de tout.
6. Tous les matins, elle (nager)………………………… pour garder la forme.
7. Est-ce que vous (voyager) ………………………. toujours en première classe?
8. Les français (fumer) ………………………….. beaucoup.
9. Nous (travailler) ………………………… ensemble.
10. Excusez-moi, est-ce que vous (parler) …………………. anglais?

Now, use "est-ce que" to make questions out of all the above sentences
(that are not already questions).
