Melissa Lavabre
Born in Provence, France, 27 years ago, I grew up in the idyllic village of Buoux in the Blue Mountain (or le Luberon). I have a lifetime relationship with the English language since I first came to the USA for a month when I was three years old. Then, I came back at age 10 to spend my 6th grade in Los Angeles. I attended the rest of junior highschool and highschool in Apt, France, and would visit the US once a year, every summer. Finally, I settled permanently in Los Angeles in 1996 to study in college.
I graduated from the Lycee Charles de Gaulle in Apt, France (high school equivalent) in 1995 and received a B.A. from Loyola Marymount University in 2001. I therefore have an excellent mastery of both French and English. I have over five years of experience in tutoring and it is a pleasure for me to teach the French language and to share my culture.

Née en Provence, en France, il y a 27 ans, j'ai grandi dans le village idyllique de Buoux, dans la Montagne Bleue (ou le Luberon). J'ai une relation à vie avec l'anglais puisque je suis venue aux Etats-Unis pour la première fois à l'âge de trois ans pendant un mois. Je suis ensuite revenue à l'âge de 10 ans pour passer ma sixième a Los Angeles. J'ai passé le reste de ma scolarité à Apt, France, venant aux Etats-Unis pendant chaque été. Finalement, je me suis installée à Los Angeles en 1996 pour étudier a l'université.
J'ai reçu un baccalauréat du Lycée Charles de Gaulle d'Apt, France en 1995 et un Bachelor of Arts (équivalent maîtrise) de l'université de Loyola Marymount University en 2001. Je possède ainsi une excellente maîtrise du français et de l'anglais. J'ai plus de cinq ans d'expérience dans l'enseignement du français et cela me plaît beaucoup d'enseigner la langue française et de partager ma culture.
